ORMOND DUNN Law Firm was founded by J. Charles Ormond, Jr. and Benjamin Dunn. The attorneys of Ormond | Dunn are committed to providing individual and commercial clients with personal and, when necessary, aggressive representation in commercial, employment, contract and injury matters. Charles “Chuck” Ormond and Benjamin Dunn have over forty-seven (47) years of combined experience in civil litigation with an emphasis on employment and labor laws, contractual disputes, personal injury and malpractice as well as Environmental law. Because both attorneys have technical backgrounds (see bios) as well as decades of trial experience, they are able to better represent clients in an efficient and cost effective manner, especially with legal issues that have technical or scientific foundations.
The ORMOND DUNN attorneys have legal experience with large statewide firms: Mr. Ormond practiced with two large regional law firms and Mr. Dunn was general counsel for a title insurance firm as well as having small and medium sized firm experience. Our attorneys finished law school in the upper tier of students. The Firm’s organization and staffing along with the attorney’s backgrounds and experience give small and medium sized businesses service and a knowledge base one would expect from a much larger law firm but, but because of the low overhead and other efficiencies developed, with much lower attendant costs.
When we represent either businesses, individual employees, land owners, or injured parties, we strive to give each client our personal attention and dedication. We do understand that each client’s legal issue is of paramount importance and, because of this, we limit the number of clients at any give time. John Charles (Chuck) Ormond has been practicing law for over twenty-six years and his practice focuses primarily in civil and administrative litigation with an emphasis in the areas of commercial, contract, employment, negligence and environmental law. He received his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law in the top ten percent of his class and was inducted into the Order of Wig and Robe. Mr. Ormond began his legal career with the McNair Law Firm and then joined Constangy, Brooks, and Smith where he practiced litigation, employment, and environmental law.
